City Managers Speak at PAA Induction and Awards Ceremony

Four local city managers gave inspiring accounts of what public service means to them at the Pi Alpha Alpha (PAA) public administration honor society induction and awards ceremony held on the Boca Raton campus, April 18, 2016. The speakers were (left to right) Leigh Ann Henderson, City Manager of Wilton Manors, Andy Berns, Town Administrator of Southwest Ranches, George Brown, Deputy City Manager of Boca Raton, and Jason Nunemaker, City Manager of Fellsmere. The PAA inductees were: Eralda Agolli, Leydi Anciano, Danielle Arfin, Lynn Asseff, Arjola Balilaj, Gabrielle Bush, Hadis Farazman, Parisa Haim Faridian, Kadeja Henry, Mabel Hurtado, Jose Irizarry, Samantha King, Mary Maier, Eric Marmer, Marielle Saba, Amelia Sharpe, Rachel Zara, and Malena Zarate. Scholarships were awarded to: Samantha King (John Canada Scholarship), Eric Marmer (John Miklos Scholarship), Nicole Hughes (Jane Thompson Scholarship), and Grace Bush (R. B. Johnson Scholarship).
