Mohammed Matuq Aljehani is an architect, designer, and educator. Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he currently lives in Miami, Florida. Aljehani has gained a versatile set of skills and experiences from his international work and educational background. He worked on several instillations while at SCI-Arc, such as the Pleated Shell Structures of Zaha Hadid and Patrick Schumacher. Mr. Aljehani holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and design (with honors)from King Abdul-Aziz University and a Master of Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). He obtained a second master’s degree in architecture from Florida International University (FIU). Aljehani has taught design studio, visual studies, and fabrication classes at King Abdul-Aziz University and FIU. He is working at becoming a licensed architect in Miami and continues to research and explore the new architectural possibilities that are generated from new technologies.
