Claudia Humphrey, Esq
Claudia Humphrey is a licensed attorney in both the United States and Colombia. She was registered at the National Registry of Lawyers in Colombia in 1996, and she was also admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016. In addition, Mrs. Humphrey is also admitted to practice before the Southern District in the US District Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association, National LGBT Bar Association, Colombian Bar Association, and Broward Bar Association. During her time in Colombia, she practiced law for over fifteen years in different areas of law and in different governmental agencies. Mrs. Humphrey also have a Master’s degree in Administrative law in Colombia where most of her practice was in the areas of fiscal responsibility process, disciplinary process of public employees, contract law and human rights. Mrs. Humphrey acquired vast administrative and management skills during her time at the Comptroller Office in Colombia, in which she supervised and lead the legal work of 25 attorneys, and two staff members.
In the United States, Mrs. Humphrey obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2011 at Florida Atlantic University. In 2013, she obtained her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies at Broward College where she graduated with honors. In 2016, Mrs. Humphrey obtained her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law. While studying law at St. Thomas, she obtained the publication of two articles, and she also won the Cali Award in Appellate Advocacy. Currently, she is also an adjunct professor at Broward College. Mrs. Humphrey teaches Law Library and Research, and Business Law.
