Dr. Lisa M. Dario is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University. Her current research interests span a variety of contemporary topics in policing, including community-oriented policing, problem-oriented strategies, police technology, and the causes and correlates of police officer line of duty deaths. Her research has been published in such outlets as Justice Quarterly, Criminology and Public Policy, Criminal Justice and Behavior, the Journal of Experimental Criminology, and Crime and Delinquency. Dr. Dario teaches courses in Policing in America, Police Accountability, Problem Solving in Crime Situations, and Research Methods.
